MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
(SHRI UPENDRA KUSHWAHA)

(a) & (b) Having regard to infrastructure available in different locations, medical
facilities under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) have been extended to
serving employees of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). At Bangalore, Chennai,
Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, CGHS facilities have been extended to all serving
employees of KVS (both teaching and non-teaching). CGHS facilities have also been
extended to serving employees of KVS (HQ) and its Regional office at Delhi. At
locations where CGHS facilities are not available, KVS’s employees are extended
benefits under Central Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1944.
