HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:-


(a) whether it is a fact that several Kendriya Vidyalayas in Delhi are running in temporary buildings; and

(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by when these schools are likely to get a permanent building?

(a) & (b): Out of 45 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in Delhi, 4 KVs- Sector-5 Narela, Sector 22 Rohini, Sector-25 Rohini and No. IV, Delhi Cantt. are running in temporary buildings. Construction of permanent buildings for KVs depends upon identification of suitable land, completion of lease formalities in favour of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan by the sponsoring authorities, availability of requisite resources etc. As such no time frame can be given in this regard.
