ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE, CULTURE AND TOURISM (INDEPENDENT CHARGE)

(DR. MAHESH SHARMA)

(a)&(b) No bye-laws have been prepared so far under Section 20(E) of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2010.

(c) The reason for delay is the non-availability of Schedule I information and site plans as prescribed in Rule 21(1) of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Framing of Heritage Bye-laws and other Functions of the Competent Authority) Rules, 2011. There is no significant implication on the preservation of Indian Cultural Heritage.
