MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE
(Shri Jayant Sinha)
***
(a) to (c)
Government launched an upgraded website in 2015, namely fipb.gov.in which assists in expediting inter-ministerial consultations and also for seeking additional information from applicants. Proposals are taking up in a chronological order. Government considers these proposals as per the extant FDI Policy. List of rejected proposals is available at the FIPB website i.e. fipb.gov.in. Data Archive > Press Releases > Last One Year. During 2015-16 till date 17 meetings of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board have been held in which 298 proposals were decided. To further expedite the disposal, FIPB is generally meeting twice in a month. Till date all proposals upto 15.01.2016 have been considered.
