URBAN DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:-




(a) whether Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is charging more from some of the allottees of Rohini Residential Scheme, 1981 than those who have been given possession earlier ;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor along with the year-wise rates charged from the allottees of the scheme; and

(c) the corrective steps taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?


ANSWER

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT (SHRI BABUL SUPRIYO)

(a), (b) & (c) : Yes, Madam. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) charges Pre-determined Rates (PDRs) from the allottees on no profit no loss basis for each financial year which are linked to the actual & anticipated expenditure. Hence, the rates are differentfor different years due to inflationary factors. The ratesper sqm charged from the allottees during the last 5 financial years i.e.from 2010-11 to 2014-15, have varied from Rs. 6,435/- to Rs. 11,077/- in respect of Janta, Rs. 8,148/- to Rs. 14,120/- for LIG and Rs. 13,287/- to Rs. 23,252/- for MIG.
