Will the Minister of CORPORATE AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-
(a) whether the Government is considering to set up a Regulatory and Monitoring Authority for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities by different Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)/Companies; and <br/><br/>(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?<br/>

There is no proposal to set up a Regulatory and Monitoring Authority for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Monitoring of CSR is the responsibility of Board of Directors of a company under the provisions of section 135 of the Act. <br/><br/><br/>*****<br/>
