Permission for New Ports

Will the Minister of SHIPPING be pleased to state:-
(a) the number of Government and private ports in the <br/> country, State/UT-wise;<br/>(b) whether the Government has received applications for <br/> grant of permission for setting up of new private <br/> ports in the country; <br/>(c) if so, the details thereof for the last three years <br/> and the current year; and <br/>(d) the present status of these applications?<br/><br/>
